Ivory Cream Foundation for Rosacea/Sensitive Skin
The main components needed to make the ivory cream foundation are: Cream Base, Pigment Blend and Pigment Filler, Plus empty cosmetic jars.
Cream Base
Ingredients:
Essential Oils & Goodies:
Method:
Melt the Jojoba oil, Naturderm IL, Waxes, Butters and emulsifying waxes in a small heat resistant glass jug in a bain-marie or microwave.
Heat the distilled water till just boiling.
When the wax is completely melted add the just boiled water and stir until cool. Add the preservative, Hyaluronic acid and essential oils and stir. Put aside until needed.
The Ivory Pigment Filler and Pigment blend using filler made with oat silk powder
Ivory Cream Foundation
Ingredients:
Mix the cream base and Ivory pigment blend and stir well.
Spoon into prepared sterilized jar.

Grind the above powders in a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder.
Assemble both the pigment concentrate and pigment filler

Additional Notes: Adding Impact Balance Micas to either the foundation or concealers can help correct skin tone

1.5 % Balance Violet + 1 % Balance Blue
Pale Caucasian Skin
3% Balance Red

- 1 tsp. Neopres PE9010 (this preservative I use if using the foundation that is make with oat silk). If using a base made without oats, then Grapefruit seed extract or Geogard preservative will work well.

- 5 drops Lavender
- 2 drops Helichrysm
- ½ tsp. Hyaluronic acid

- 1 teaspoon Imperial Citrine Mica
- 1 teaspoon Imperial Topaz Mica
- 1 teaspoon Pearl Nude Mica
Grind the above powders in a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder.
Assemble both the pigment concentrate and pigment filler
- 4 teaspoons Pigment filler
- 1 teaspoon Nude Pigment Concentrate
French Bisque Pigment Blend

- ½ teaspoon Indian Summer Mica
- ¼ teaspoon Moroccan Velvet Mica
- ¼ teaspoon Imperial Topaz Mica
- 1 teaspoon Pearl Nude Mica
- 2½ teaspoons Balance Gold Mica
- 2 teaspoons Copper Sparks Mica
- 1 teaspoon Ice Crystal Mica
- ½ teaspoon 24 Karat Gold Mica
Method:
Grind the above powders in a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder.
Assemble both the pigment concentrate and pigment filler
- 4 teaspoons Pigment filler
- 1 teaspoon French Bisque Pigment Concentrate
Grind the above powders in a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder.
Bronze Pigment Blend
Ingredients for Bronze Pigment Colour Concentrate:
- 1 teaspoon Moroccan Velvet Mica
- 3 teaspoons Imperial Topaz Mica
- 2 teaspoons Pearl Nude Mica
- 5 teaspoons Precious Gold Mica
- 1 teaspoon Blackstar Gold Mica
- 2 teaspoons Passion Orange Mica
Method:
Grind the above powders in a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder.
Assemble both the pigment concentrate and pigment filler
- 4 teaspoons Pigment filler
- 1 teaspoon Bronze Pigment Concentrate
Grind the above powders in a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder.
Honey Pigment Blend

- 4 x 0.15 cc scoops Ultramarine Blue
